- Hmm, Well thank you for your information on the bbs's that may have
- information on Punter. But perhaps I am not clairifying myself correctly. I
- run an 8-bit Commodore BBS that already has the punter c1 protocol running
- fine, what I am trying to get my hands on is simply a working version of an
- add on punter c1 protocol for the many IBM users that call my bbs. A Multi
- punter protocol is what is needed. I don't need the protocol to run a bbs
- on, and paying several hundred dollars for a transfer protocol for my users
- is just a little bit more than I'm willing to spring for.
-
- For those that may, or may not be interested, I am running a C128 Color
- 64 version 128 (128 mode) bbs on soon to be 2 gigs of space (currently 500
- meg approx) with a Hayes Accura 14.4 modem, with CMD Hard Drives, Swiftlink,
- RamLink and other miscellaneous items. The group of sysops connected via
- Network and ComLink on these types of boards are looking for protocols that
- will work in the space available (you don't want to know), that will allow
- users on other types of platforms to transfer files easier and faster.
-
- Thanks in advance and to those that have already given suggestions and
- comments.
