  15.   Hmm, Well thank you for your information on the bbs's that may have 
  16. information on Punter.  But perhaps I am not clairifying myself correctly. I 
  17. run an 8-bit Commodore BBS that already has the punter c1 protocol running 
  18. fine, what I am trying to get my hands on is simply a working version of an 
  19. add on punter c1 protocol for the many IBM users that call my bbs.  A Multi 
  20. punter protocol is what is needed.  I don't need the protocol to run a bbs 
  21. on, and paying several hundred dollars for a transfer protocol for my users 
  22. is just a little bit more than I'm willing to spring for.

  24.    For those that may, or may not be interested, I am running a C128 Color 
  25. 64 version 128 (128 mode) bbs on soon to be 2 gigs of space (currently 500 
  26. meg approx) with a Hayes Accura 14.4 modem, with CMD Hard Drives, Swiftlink, 
  27. RamLink and other miscellaneous items.  The group of sysops connected via 
  28. Network and ComLink on these types of boards are looking for protocols that 
  29. will work in the space available (you don't want to know), that will allow 
  30. users on other types of platforms to transfer files easier and faster.
